3.5 starsConsidering this book is only 200 over pages and the blurb pretty much says it all, I'm going to keep this short and simply. This is quite a short, fun and sexy read about Abby, a book reviewer, who reluctantly joined the Survivor reality game show and got team up with Dean Woodall, the competitive golden boy, who wants to win at all cost. Of course, things doesn't always appear as it seem. They both started off on the wrong footing and unable to cooperate, but later on formed an understanding and a solid partnership. However, the underhand allegiance with other contestants threaten they trust towards each other that further leads to some misunderstanding.
This was told entirely from Abby's POV, but I like that on the beginning of every chapter, we have a paragraph of Dean's POV as well. He had his soft side apart from appearing as the arrogant, cocky guy who thinks he is the best out there. Anyway, this is a pretty light read that is not overall romantic or dramatic and didn't get me all emotionally engage, but is fun and we got a little sexy times. The epilogue give us a nice HEA, but is too damn short. I wonder does Book 2 still features Abby and Dean in it.
